About GLOW
Glow Ministry was founded in 2014 by Samantha Harris and Naoko Uechi. We are a non-profit, para-church organization located in the southside of Atlanta. We serve the local and expatriate Japanese community in the area.
We partner with many interdenominational American and Japanese churches/ministries, as well as individual supporters, to fulfill the mission of GLOW.
We offer weekly ESL Classes, Bible Studies, Twice Month Kids' Classes, Parenting Classes, and more!
Mission
We exist to glorify God, share the love of Jesus, and proclaim the gospel to the unreached Japanese community in the southside of ATL and Japan.
Vision
Striving to lead the Japanese to Jesus resulted in a widespread Disciple-Making movement of Christianity both locally and in Japan.

Our Beliefs
We believe that there is one true and living God who exists in three persons, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired word and is the final authority on faith and life.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and has lived a perfect, sinless life. We believe that he died on the cross for the sins of humanity, was resurrected on the third day, and ascended into heaven.
We believe that man and woman were created in God’s image and sinned, which brought both physical and spiritual death, thus separating them from God, who is without sin.
We believe that all humans are born with a sinful nature that requires saving grace from a gracious God.
We believe that salvation is by grace through faith and that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the Holy Spirit and become children of God who live with the gift of the Holy Spirit within them.
We are not in agreement with the following teachings:
- Prosperity Gospel
- Word of Faith
- New Apostolic Reformation Movement (NAR)
-New Age Theology
- "Little God" Theology
- Progressive Christianity
