Lot's to Celebrate!

Summer 2024 brought fruitful connections both in Georgia and in Japan!

Several faithful Glow volunteers opened their homes to the Glow Community and showed them a unique and fun time! Sue Castlen has been serving with Glow for 8 years as a 1:1 partner and a summer host!

She shares her home which offers the Glow community the opportunity to experience kayaking, boating, and lake swimming! It is always a well-attended event, and we are grateful for her hospitality!

By invitation from LifeShape, a

Chick-Fil-A organization, Samantha and a Japanese volunteer attended a unique experience in Clarkston, GA in effort to establish a ministry partnership with LifeShape. We look forward to growing that relationship this Fall!

Glow sent a mission team to Japan in June. This team consisted of Naoko, Noah and Anna Uechi and Eric, Rachel, Micah and Silas McEachron! We hosted a big summer

camp with many families in Tokyo! It was our first time to have a sleepover camp. We also had a couple of mini retreats with the believers.

As always, we were able to meet and reconnect with many returnees. Networking with the like minded missionaries is another important aspect of our mission trip and we were able to meet with a few! We are thankful for these great opportunities to connect with many of our new and old friends in Christ.

We wrapped up the summer vacation by hosting our annual Glow Kids Camp! We are thankful to Crossroads Church in Newnan, GA for the use of their space as well as Thrivent who sponsored the camp. Over 20 children came for three days to learn the gospel message, sing songs, memorize scripture, play games, eat snacks, make crafts and play on the playground!

Moms attended and volunteers served in the name of Jesus! Glow Kids left the camp having learned that Jesus is the Savior of the world!

Thank you to the Glow Kids Leader, Rachel McEachron as well as our faithful volunteers, Kathy Baker, Julie Schafer, and Andy Lam for your hard work!

GLOW Japan:

Glow Japan is led by several leaders who work together to encourage, visit, bring to church and meet with returnees as often as possible. KBSJ is an online Bible study that takes place every week led by a local missionary.

This photo shows Noah Uechi training one of the Glow Japan leaders during the Summer Mission Trip.

Glow @ Home is an online group that provides monthly encouragement and Bible teaching for all returnees.
